Nothing says, “I love you, Mom” quite like fresh flowers, mimosas, and a plethora of activities to keep little ones occupied long enough for her to finish a sentence. This was just part of the mommy and me fun on hand at our special Mother’s Day party at Greenwich Village’s Cafe Clover. Along with our friends at Madewell and J.Crew, we gathered together an inspiring group of mamas, including Instagram’s Eva Chen, Sai de Silva of Scout the City, and Molly Rosen Guy of Stone Fox Bride (plus their adorable minis), for an afternoon of crafting, gardening, and flower arranging at our French country-themed farmer’s market brunch in celebration of their first ever (irresistible) strawberry print mommy and me collection. The dreamy setting included Shibori and vintage French grain-sack table clothes, wooden baskets adorned with bandanas ready to be filled with fresh fruit and flowers, and an eight foot high flower wall made up of 975 pink and white carnations which served as the perfect backdrop for family portraits. Because all mamas really want for Mother’s Day is a few minutes of uninterrupted mom-bonding, a handmade card, and a sweet photo to cherish forever.
